Clark & Billy ( I know they call him Bill now but he will always be Billy to me) with Rockem, Sockem Robots.

 We spent the day at Granny and Grump's house the Wednesday before Christmas.  Bill, Berret and Cassie ( Billy's soon to be wife) had arrived on Saturday and this gave us a chance to spend some time together.  We had a great lunch and then it was time to OPEN PRESENTS!  We had a wonderful time with family and great memories to cherish for years to come.

Happy 2011!

I just got used to writing 2010 ... so here we go again :)

I was reading a blog this morning about resolutions ... it's something we always do but never seem to follow thru.  Instead of making resolutions this year she said it was a prayer.  To pray for what she wanted, to be a better Christian, by being a better wife, mother and friend to others.  She also said if she lost 10 pounds along the way it would make her happy.  So my prayer this year is to have a Happy, Healthy and Family Filled New Year.  My boys are growing up so fast and time seems to be going faster and faster so I want to enjoy it.  So what if I'm behind in laundry or I didn't mop my kitchen in over a week ... it will wait!  Tomorrow, my baby turns "8" ... I found some pictures of the day I brought him home from the hospital and it seems so long ago.  I want to enjoy every minute that I have with family and friends and not worry about the little things.

I hope everyone has a Happy, Healthy and Family Filled New Year!

After the concert my mother and dad gave the boys special ornaments for the year!  Braxton got a "drum" and Clark got a basketball player.  We had to come home and put them on the boys tree in the playroom ...and we had a little picture time :)

Christmas Band Concert

The Intermediate band had the Christmas concert with the Middle School ... they did really good and the sound was awesome!  Braxton really loves the drums and Meme gave him a "drum" ornament after the concert.

Every year we try to do a christmas photo of all four grandkids for my parents .... we took several!  At this age someone was always making a face ... looking the other direction ... or just really not wanting to cooperate!  We used one anyway!!!!
